Irish Blessing Message

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for supporting The Irish Blessing by subscribing to our mailing list. Many of you have submitted recordings, whilst many others have kept The Irish Blessing in your prayer. We want to thank each one of you for getting behind it. All of you are a part of The Irish Blessing.

But we need your help…

On Sunday 31st May, Pentecost, The Irish Blessing will be bestowed on the key-workers on our island and all those they are working to help. In the spirit of Pentecost, we ask you to help us spread the word about The Irish Blessing far and wide, so that the name of the Lord will be exalted across our island and beyond!

How you can help…

Choose a facility in your local area that you would hold very especially in your prayer.
Subscribe to our YouTube Channel where you can pray The Irish Blessing with us on Sunday 31st May for your chosen facility.

These may seem like small things but the impact of them can be huge.

“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.” (Proverbs 3:27)

It is in our power! Let us bless one another by sharing The Irish Blessing and through it,  giving glory to God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Blessings,

The Irish Blessing Team

TROCAIRE BOXES

Every year Trócaire asks for your help during Lent to fund lifesaving programmes around the world. This year, of course, it was not possible to return Trócaire boxes through schools or parishes in the usual way.

This is the worst possible timing coming just as the world’s poorest people need us most. Therefore, Trócaire are appealing to you to return your Lenten donation. Simply count or estimate what is in your box and donate in the following ways

1. Online at www.trocaire.org

2. By phone: 1850 408 408 (ROI) or 0800 912 1200 (NI)

3. By post to Trócaire, Maynooth, Co. Kildare (ROI) or Trócaire, 10 King Street, Belfast, BT1 6AD (NI)

4. Check with your local parish on how to safely return your donation (**If it is possible and safe for people to return donations to your parish, please include those details here** )

The contents of each and every Trócaire box, no matter how small, come together to make a significant difference. This virus knows no borders, but neither does our compassion.

ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
Come at least spiritually into my heart.

I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
